almost there.
to-do list:
-finish sleeves (white ones are too long, need to be hemmed)
-attach sleeves
-replace lacing on the neckline – what I used as too thin
-take it up a bit, still a little too big
-iron it
Tonight I’m going to do the lacing on the neckline – but otherwise I’m focusing on Padme tonight. I want to get the cloak pieces cut out, and start dying them. I also want to get the underdress hemmed and fitted.
Ash’s mom loaned me their sewing machine. Luckily it’s set up pretty much the same way as ours, so I didn’t have any trouble with it last night. It still pisses me off about our sewing machine, though – I may just have to go ahead and buy a new one. I was going to put one on our wedding registry, but I may not be able to wait.
